Emergency Assistance Foundation – a 501(c)(3) nonprofit – partners with large companies to help their team members who are struggling through difficult times. We do this through the administration of employer-sponsored disaster and hardship relief funds. Following an unexpected disaster (like a hurricane) or personal hardship (like a serious illness), our funds award tax-free grants that provide essential financial assistance on the path to recovery, while also allowing team members to help their colleagues in need through tax-deductible donations (for those subject to United States IRS regulations). As a low-cost, third-party administrator, Emergency Assistance Foundation independently administers all fund activities – including accepting donations, objectively reviewing grant applications, and awarding and distributing grants – while also maintaining legal and regulatory compliance. As a financial first responder, we remain resourceful and fearless to ensure that financial assistance reaches individuals in need as quickly and efficiently as possible, no matter the obstacle. In the last few years, our funds have awarded more than $230 million in financial assistance to hundreds of thousands of individuals and families in need around the world.
