Tanya Fitzgerald

Tanya Fitzgerald is a Human Resources executive with experience working with all organizational levels creating, promoting, and delivering talent programs and initiatives to support business goals. Tanya is passionate about creating a high-performing and enjoyable business environment that supports learning and talent and career development. Tanya recently joined Novant Health as the Vice President of Talent Management, where she leads and executes the talent development strategy for Novant as it continues to grow and change and the healthcare landscape continues to evolve. Prior to joining Novant, she served as Vice President of Talent Management at Brookdale Senior Living, where she led and executed the learning, performance management, inclusion and diversity, and talent development framework for the organization. Prior to this role, Tanya served as the Senior Director for Talent Management and as the Director of Sales Training for Brookdale. Prior to Brookdale, Tanya served at several organizations designing and delivering successful programs ranging from change management to community well-being, leadership and organizational development, and compliance. Tanya has a Master’s in Education (MEd) from The Ohio State University and became a Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) in 2015. She uses Hogan and Korn Ferry assessments to coach and guide leaders and is a Prosci-certified Change Management practitioner. Outside of work, she enjoys live music, traveling with her husband Jeff, and any activity that she can do outdoors.
