Ryan Curran
Ryan Curran, M.S., is the Director of Leadership and Staff Development for Yale Medicine Training and Development. In this role, he is responsible for the execution of strategic learning initiatives, thought leadership, and client consultation spanning the three missions of the School of Medicine. Ryan brings over 20 years of talent development experience across a diverse collection of industries including consumer packaged goods, telecommunications, automotive, and online retail. He holds a BA in Psychology, MS in Management and Public Policy, and has done graduate level work in mental health counselling. He also holds certifications in GROW coaching, DiSC, and other popular learning and development programs. Ryan’s vision on developing organizational talent within the Yale School of Medicine is simple, but not easy; reduce “interference” so that an individual’s performance can equal their capacity. He continually drives to achieve that vision by leveraging relationship-building, analytics, learning technologies, strategic partnerships, and business acumen in addition to continual personal development.
