Before spearheading QCP Consulting, Queenie Plater served as the Vice President of Human Resources for the National Capital Region at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Health System. She was pivotal in overseeing all aspects of HR for Sibley Memorial and Suburban Hospitals, notably guiding Sibley through its integration into Johns Hopkins Medicine in 2010. Her multi-faceted career took her from nuanced HR roles to the pinnacle position of Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, where she managed key administrative functions with strategic foresight.

An esteemed educator, Queenie shared her knowledge as a faculty member of the John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health's Department of Health Policy and Management. She also imparted wisdom to future leaders as an academic preceptor and executive mentor at Georgetown University's Health Systems Administration Program.

A testament to her commitment to lifelong learning, Queenie acquired a Bachelor of Science in organizational management from Washington Adventist University, followed by a Masters of Science in applied behavioral science from Johns Hopkins University.
