With over 20 years of HR experience, Miraix serves as Executive Director of Employee Relations and Professionalism for MGB Academic Medical Centers, where she champions the creation of psychologically safe workplaces that prioritize both employee wellbeing and organizational excellence. Her expertise spans the full spectrum of employee relations, with more than a decade focused intensively on HR investigations and building successful, mission-driven employee relations teams from the ground up. Miraix has established herself as a trusted advisor to healthcare leadership, skillfully navigating complex workplace dynamics while mitigating organizational risk and empowering managers to make informed, compassionate decisions. Her specialized areas of focus include leading high-performing and engaged teams, conducting thorough HR investigations, and managing workplace accommodations—all critical components in today’s healthcare environment where employee retention and satisfaction directly impact patient care quality. Miraix holds a Juris Doctor degree and maintains her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification, bringing both legal acumen and deep HR expertise to her role. Her passion for employee relations stems from a genuine belief that when employees feel heard and supported, they deliver exceptional care to patients and communities. Beyond her professional achievements, Miraix brings the same dedication and attention to detail to her personal pursuits—she’s a devoted mother who sets ambitious reading goals (400+ books annually) and known for her legendary kitchen acumen, though the competition is fierce in her family.
