Jay Carpenter

Senior Director, HR AMN Healthcare

Jay Carpenter is celebrating 25 years in HR in 2019, along with other experience in Entertainment, Hospitality and Specialty Retail operations over the last 30 years.  He has been with AMN Healthcare since 2010 and supported various lines of business as an HR Business Partner, leading the HR Generalist function, as well as HR liaison for numerous acquisitions by AMN over the last 9 years.  Jay’s expertise is in coaching and leading executives and their teams through transformative change, organization design and execution. 

Preceding his career at AMN, Jay has held roles in operations and HR with The Walt Disney Company – Parks and Resorts Division as well as the ABC Network, The GAP, PacSun and Starwood Hotels.   

Jay earned his bachelor’s in Radio-TV-Film from The University of Texas at Austin as well as his MA in HR from Rollins College, Winter Park, FL.  He currently resides in Dallas, Texas.
