Donato Cipriano is currently serving as the Chief Human Resources Officer for NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst. Mr. Cipriano began his career in Human Resources 20 years ago and has held positions of varied and increasing responsibility since then. He joined NYCH+H in 2018 where he has raised the bar for creating and implementing HR programs. Mr. Cipriano is focused on delivering the highest level of services to staff across all organizational levels, while aligning business needs with the interests of the communities served by Elmhurst Hospital. He led the COVID-19 recovery efforts overseeing the NYS vaccination mandate, reinvigorating recruitment efforts, and reducing turnover to an all-time low for the facility. Mr. Cipriano is now working closely the Chief Experience Officer of Elmhurst Hospital to reimagine the entire onboarding and workforce integration program, highlighting hospitality in healthcare as the main goal of this new effort. Mr. Cipriano holds a master's degree in organizational leadership and is both SHRM-CP and PHR certified.
