David started his career as an Emergency Room nurse, but soon developed a passion for helping patients through developing other clinical staff.  From his first training role as an ER Clinical Educator, David has advanced through successive roles to increase his influence in learning and development in the healthcare industry.  David’s current role is Senior Director of Organizational Learning at Children’s Health in Dallas, TX.  Current interests include learning analytics and creating an employee-driven learning culture through individualized, curated content accessible at the point of need.  David has a Master’s degree in Nursing Education and is Board Certified in Nursing Professional Development.
