Director, Transformation and Innovation Corewell Health

Crystal is Director of Human Resources, Talent and Culture at Corewell Health System. In her role, she helps the organization design and implement workforce strategies to serve the needs of the ever-changing healthcare environment. She has over 20 years of experience and expertise in translating challenging business issues into innovative solutions, meaningful strategies, and actions to assist the organization and individuals toward achieving results and creating value.

Background

Over the course of Crystal’s tenure with BHSH, she has served in a variety of functions within HR contributing to her versatility as a strategic leader. Prior roles include leadership of change management, HR communications, business partners, training, and organizational development.

Crystal has additional corporate experience working at Amway, Haworth, Inc., and General Motors. Crystal worked in the non-profit sector as a consultant to small to medium sized organizations and has also served as an adjunct faculty member where she taught courses in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior and Business Communication.

Education

Crystal has a Master of Labor and Industrial Relations Degree and a Bachelor of Arts Communication Degree both from Michigan State University.

Family and Community

Crystal has 2 adult children, Christian Guy, Justice January and a grandchild, Ava. Crystal lives in west Michigan with her husband Terry.
