Brian Johnson

Brian Johnson is passionate about helping leaders connect with the individuals on their team. He has over 20 years of experience in leadership development and human resources. Brian’s experience ranges throughout multiple industries including financial services, staffing, nonprofit, and healthcare. Brian has been with Ascension for 10 years in progressive roles and most recently is serving as the director of Ascension’s Learning & Leader Institute.

Brian graduated from Purdue University with a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership & Supervision and will finish his doctorate in Learning Design & Technology next spring. Brian is certified as a Trainer & Coach in the 4 Stages of Psychological Safety and as a Crucial Conversations Trainer.

When not developing leaders in Ascension, Brian enjoys watching his two daughters continue to grow or you might find him running, slowly, at a local 5K.
