Anya Reed currently serves as Director in the Office of Culture & Engagement at Houston Methodist. A dynamic leader with more than 15 years of experience, Anya drives large-scale projects and strategic initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency, and engagement. Known for her innovative approach and unwavering commitment to excellence, Anya has a proven track record of delivering impactful results across varied industries. Anya oversees the execution of system-wide strategies to support employees, patients, and the communities Houston Methodist serves, driving key performance metrics and initiatives that strengthen the organization’s culture. Her role builds on prior success as Manager and Senior Project Manager in the department, where she led high-profile projects including policy changes, local OCE committees, and strategic partnerships. Anya’s career includes notable achievements in operations, marketing, and corporate communications. At Houston Methodist, she directed the organization’s Centennial celebration, delivering signature projects such as a documentary premiere and historical exhibits to mark the hospital’s 100-year anniversary. Previously, at MD Anderson Cancer Center, she worked on national marketing campaigns that exceeded patient acquisition and donation goals, launched the institution’s first vaccine PSA, and drove significant growth in digital engagement. Her earlier work at Chevron involved coordinating executive-level stakeholder engagements and managing multimillion-dollar social investment budgets. Recognized for her strategic mindset, clear communication, and ability to build strong relationships, Anya is deeply committed to advancing organizational culture and aligning initiatives with core values.
