Dr. Alexis Ramirez, DNP, RN Dr. Alexis Ramirez is a dedicated nurse leader with more than 20 years of experience spanning clinical practice, education, and academic leadership. She currently serves as Regional Dean of Academics, where she oversees multiple hospital-embedded nursing education centers across California’s Central Valley. In this role, she is deeply committed to preparing the next generation of compassionate nurses while addressing the workforce challenges hospitals face today. As a practicing nurse, Dr. Ramirez witnessed firsthand the urgent need for education models developed in partnership with hospitals—programs that both strengthen patient care and expand the pipeline of qualified nurses. Her career reflects a passion for bridging clinical practice with innovative nursing education to ensure sustainable workforce solutions. Dr. Ramirez earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from California State University, Fresno, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She also holds a Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University and began her journey with an Associate Degree in Nursing from Meridian Community College.
